We believe the simple things are the best: Quality, Consistency, and Community. We are deliberate about our winemaking choices, but also in the way we do business. We aim for our wines to be consistent year-to-year, but also to be reliable and available for our customers. And we engage in our community, participating in island life and generously donating to civic organizations. These tenets underpin everything we do, and they result in not just a product, but a way of life that deeply satisfies.
Our Story
–
Eagle Harbor Wine Company was founded in 2005 by Cynthia and Hugh Remash, with the vision to craft artisanal old-world wine styles. In 2009, Emily Parsons began working alongside Hugh as an assistant while furthering her education, studying wine and winemaking at UC Davis in California. In 2012, with the support of her husband, Steve Trimble, Emily became an investor in Eagle Harbor Wine Co..
In 2014 it was time to pass the torch. Emily purchased Eagle Harbor Wine Co. and took over winemaking and operations, retaining Hugh as a consulting winemaker. Today the winery continues their tradition of making elegant, balanced and approachable wines.
Relationships Matter
Living on an island helps underscore the importance of community, but we believe our civic responsibility extends beyond geography. Eagle Harbor is proud to have relationships with a range of quality non-profit organizations:
